Be sure to tape over the vent opening on the bottom of the cartridge.

It is important to drill only where shown in the instructions.

A power drill using a 1/8" or 3mm drill bit may also be used.

Inject the ink only to the shoulder of the cartridge.

Tightly seal the opening with the supplied plug. The seal must be air tight.

Remove the tape from the bottom of the cartridge. Ink will drip from the printhead but will stop after a few drops.

Place the cartridge on a non-absorbent surface for at least one hour in order to allow the pressure in the internal chambers to equalise.

Clean the contacts and printhead per instructions and install the cartridge into the printer as new. Run at least 2 printer cleaning cycles to return print quality to normal.
