Using a sharp blade, carefully cut through the area joining the top dust cover to the cartridge body. Do not cut through the ridge at the rear of the cartridge.

Following the instructions, insert the blunt filling tube as far as possible and inject the proper colour into each chamber. The slower you inject, the more ink the sponge will absorb.

Stop when ink appears on top of the sponge. Pull back on the plunger slightly to prevent spillage. Caution: Overfilling will cause cross contamination of colours, ruining the cartridge.

When each chamber has been filled, replace the dust cover and secure with adhesive tape.

Set the cartridge upright on a non-absorbent surface for 24 hours then clean the contacts and printhead per instructions and install the cartridge into the printer as new. Run at least 2 printer cleaning cycles to return print quality to normal.
