Seal the outlet hole with adhesive tape.

Using the drill supplied, make a filling hole on the top of the cartridge over the ink reservoir. A power drill using a 1/8" or 3mm drill bit can also be used.

Inject ink into the reservoir until nearly full.

Seal the filling hole with the plug provided, or with strong sealing tape.

Sit the cartridge upright on a non-absorbent surface for 24 hours to allow the ink to saturate the sponge.

Remove the tape from the outlet hole, install into printer as new and run at least 2 cleaning cycles to return print quality to normal.
